My actual blog and website are at CFGriffith.com -- I mainly use this to reply to friends here on blogger, and meet new friends! :)
I am learning to sew historical clothing so I can have fun with my costuming friends (although I am not historically accurate yet -- someday when I'm caught up, I hope to try harder). Although I also love Victorian clothing, my current focus is on 18th century.
Best Wishes!

woohoo! I'm your first follower! When we get to a good place time wise I am right there with you on being more historically accurate...This year we can mull over stitches while wearing something machine fabulous! :)
ReplyDeleteYay! :D Yes, it's definitely a time thing, but also a fabric thing. I even had to get some most likely not very accurate fabric to make a nicer apron that is more sheer because the linens (I didn't even bother looking for any silks) I had to choose from were definitely not going to work. It's been a nightmare to work with too!
ReplyDeleteRight now, it's all about having fun and getting started! Woohoo! :D
